April 7, 2025Thanks to BRAVE Education's upcoming school visits (April 7 to 11 and May 12 to 16), your child will benefit from a small-group approach to bullying prevention. With scenario-based learning, the speakers go beyond general messages to equip students with practical strategies.
In addition to these workshops for students from kindergarten to grade 8e his year, the School Board is pleased to offer families an evening dedicated to bullying and conflict: monday april 7 at 7 p.m. (in Thunder Bay and online).
During the evening, you will be able to :
- Learn the differences between bullying behavior and everyday conflicts.
- Put the knowledge you've acquired into practice with a lively case study.
- Learn prevention strategies to reduce the risk of bullying and how to intervene if it occurs.
- Discuss the existence of self-confidence, the fact that some people have it and others less so, and how to work on it with their young people.
- Discover practical communication methods to better engage their young people.
This type of workshop inspires resilience through social and emotional skills.
